Physician Assistant - Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist physicians in providing high-quality patient care in OPD, IPD, ICU, Emergency, and other clinical areas as assigned.
- Obtain and document patients' medical history, perform physical examinations, and record clinical findings.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, clinical progress, and response to treatment, and promptly report any changes to the treating physician.
- Assist in diagnosing and managing patients under the supervision of the consulting physician.
- Order and coordinate laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic investigations as directed by the physician.
- Assist in performing clinical procedures and minor interventions within the scope of practice.
- Prepare and maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical records in the Hospital Information System (HIS).
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and discharge instructions.
- Coordinate with nursing staff, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy,



and other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in ward rounds, case discussions, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control protocols, patient safety standards, and clinical guidelines.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal standards of medical practice.
- Assist in emergency management, including basic and advanced life support, as per hospital protocols and competency.
- Participate in continuous medical education (CME), training programs, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Perform administrative and clinical duties assigned by the Head of Department or the treating physician.
- Undertake shift duties, weekend duties, on-call responsibilities, and rotational postings as required by hospital operations.

Pay: ₹10,248.38 - ₹80,000.00 per month
