Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
Perform numerical simulations using tools like LS-Dyna, MSC Dytran, SIM AI/ Physics AI, Nastran, Patran, ANSYS Workbench etc. on all in-house HVAC&R; components as part of current product development
Work closely with CAD Designers, CFD, Manufacturing and Sourcing Engineers to solve field issues, identify the critical locations and providing design solutions during early in the design cycle, to verify the structural integrity, reliability of the product




Automate FEA workflow using Python APIs
Perform Static and Dynamic analysis like Crash, Impact, Vibration, Modal, Harmonic, Random vibration, Rotor Dynamics analysis, Handling, Shipping/Transportation analysis using Ansys tools
Perform Impact and Drop analysis using LS Dyna/ MSC Dytran/ Abaqus Explicit.
Write analysis reports and other technical documents.
Short travel to international locations may occur as part of the role.
Perform independent research and create methodologies and standard process documents for simulations
Knowledge and capabilities required:
Able to independently execute projects with little or no guidance
Strong knowledge of Solid Mechanics and Strength of Materials
Comfortable working with global counterparts
Ability to develop rapport and forge relationships with stakeholders
Ability to guide new engineers in certain aspects of project execution
Ability to learn and execute technology projects under
