Job Summary

Cheran College of Allied Health Sciences is looking for an experienced and dynamic
Principal
to lead the College's academic and administrative activities and ensure high standards of education, clinical training, University compliance and student development.

Mandatory Qualification
- Ph.D. is mandatory.
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. / M.Phil. in any relevant Allied Health Sciences discipline, preferably:
- Anaesthesia Technology
- Accident & Emergency Care Technology
- Cardiac Technology
- Operation Theatre & Anaesthesia Technology
- Physician Assistant
- Radiology / Radiology & Imaging Technology

Experience
- 10–15+ years
of relevant experience in Allied Health Sciences / Health Sciences / Medical Education.
- Minimum
5 years in a senior academic/administrative position
, such as:
- Principal
- Vice Principal
- Dean
- Professor & HOD
- Academic Director




- Experience in an institution affiliated with
The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University
will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall academic and administrative leadership to the College.
- Ensure compliance with University rules, regulations and affiliation requirements.
- Coordinate University inspections, affiliation and examination-related activities.
- Manage and develop teaching and clinical faculty.
- Monitor teaching, practical, clinical training and internships.
- Coordinate with affiliated/associated hospitals for clinical training.
- Monitor student attendance, academic performance, discipline and welfare.
- Ensure smooth conduct of internal and University examinations.
- Promote research, publications, seminars and faculty development.
- Develop hospital/industry partnerships and placement opportunities.
- Maintain academic records and ensure inspection readiness.
