Join us as a Lead Data Engineer / Associate Manager to build and scale modern data platforms that power business and scientific innovation. You'll lead data engineering initiatives, mentor teams, and deliver robust data pipelines using cutting-edge cloud and AI technologies. Your key responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
- Provide technical guidance, evaluate project feasibility, and drive engineering best practices across initiatives.
- Develop high-quality, modular data solutions using modern data engineering tools and frameworks.
- Manage data integration and ETL processes from multiple source systems to enterprise platforms.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance through automated testing, monitoring,



and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with data scientists, modelers, BI developers, stewards, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful outcomes.

You bring
- 6-8 years of experience building and maintaining enterprise-scale data pipelines and data platforms.
- Strong expertise in SQL, Python, PySpark, dbt, Databricks, Git, and Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS), CI/CD implementation, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Proven ability to deliver scalable, reliable, and well-documented solutions with strong testing and automation practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in team management, project delivery, and driving technical excellence; exposure to scientific datasets, FAIR principles, or data governance is a plus.
