About the Role

We are looking for an experienced
Senior Software Engineer – Backend (Java)
to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and distributed services.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with
Java, Spring Boot, RESTful microservices, Kafka, SQL/NoSQL databases, and system design
. You will work closely with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to build high-performance, business-critical applications.

Experience with
cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and AI-assisted development tools
is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using
Java and Spring Boot
.
- Build event-driven and streaming solutions using
Kafka
for high-throughput and low-latency systems.
- Design and optimize data models using
SQL and NoSQL databases
.
- Own
high-level and low-level technical design




for backend systems.
- Design scalable and reliable distributed systems and microservices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Follow best practices for coding, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers to deliver business-critical features.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Contribute to technical decisions and improve engineering practices.

Required Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of software development experience
, with strong backend engineering experience.
