About the role:

BearingNorthAI is hiring a freelance Off-Page SEO specialist to build our backlink profile and improve domain authority. This is a remote, freelance, ongoing role suited to someone experienced in ethical link building at volume.

What you'll do:
- Build backlinks from a mix of relevant directories, guest posts, forums, and business listings




- Deliver a consistent monthly volume of backlinks as agreed with the team
- Track and report all links built, including source URL, anchor text, and domain authority of each source
- Prioritize do-follow links from relevant, indexed, real websites
- Avoid black-hat tactics: no PBNs (private blog networks), no link farms, no spam comment links, no paid link schemes that violate Google's guidelines
- Flag any risk or quality concerns proactively rather than just hitting a number

What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in off-page SEO and link building, with examples of past work
- Understanding of what makes a backlink valuable (domain authority, relevance, indexing status) versus what just adds to a count
- Familiarity with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or similar to vet link quality
- Reliable, able to deliver consistent monthly output
- Positive written English for outreach and reporting
