Role & responsibilities
- Manage material inward, outward, storage, and inventory control activities.
- Ensure uninterrupted material availability for production as per production plans.
- Maintain stock accuracy through cycle counting and physical verification.
- Prepare GRN, material issue slips, stock reconciliation, and inventory reports.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement teams for timely replenishment.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, and traceability of materials.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO practices and maintain warehouse discipline.
- Update material transactions in SAP/ERP systems accurately.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Logistics, and Purchase departments.
- Monitor slow-moving and non-moving inventory and recommend corrective actions.
- Implement 5S, safety standards, and continuous improvement initiatives in stores.
- Support internal and external audits related to inventory and store operations.

Preferred candidate profile
- Graduate/Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Logistics, Supply Chain Management,



or a related discipline.
- 2-5 years of experience in Store, Warehouse, Inventory, or SCM functions within the Automotive/Manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on experience in material receiving, storage, issuance, and inventory management.
- Working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems and inventory transactions.
- Strong understanding of stock reconciliation, cycle counting, and physical inventory audits.
- Experience in managing production line material supply and coordination with procurement and logistics teams.
- Good knowledge of FIFO/FEFO, 5S, warehouse management, and inventory control practices.
- Proficient in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, MIS reporting).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced manufacturing environment and meet operational targets.
