About the Role
We're looking for a curious, detail-oriented SEO Executive to join a growing marketing agency team. This is a outstanding opportunity for someone early in their career who understands traditional SEO and is also plugged into how search is evolving — Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) for platforms like Google's AI Overviews and voice assistants, and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) for visibility in tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini. You'll work across multiple client accounts, so adaptability and a willingness to learn fast matter more than years of experience.
What You'll Do
- Conduct keyword research and on-page optimization (meta tags, headers, internal linking, content structure) across client websites
- Run technical SEO audits (site speed, crawlability, indexing, mobile-friendliness, schema markup)
- Optimize content and site structure for AI Overviews, featured snippets, and voice search (AEO)
- Research and implement strategies to improve brand/content visibility in AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google Gemini (GEO)
- Track rankings,
organic traffic, and search visibility using tools like Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush/Ahrefs
- Support link-building and off-page SEO efforts
- Monitor algorithm updates and emerging search trends, and translate them into actionable recommendations
- Prepare client-ready SEO performance reports
- Collaborate with content writers, designers, and paid media teams on integrated campaigns
What We're Looking For
- 0.6 months – 1 year of hands-on or internship experience in SEO (agency exposure is a plus)
- Working knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO fundamentals
- Familiarity with or genuine interest in AEO/GEO — how content gets surfaced in AI-generated answers, not just traditional search results
- Comfortable with tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), and at least one SEO platform (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Ubersuggest, etc.)
