About the Role

We’re looking for a
Java Backend Developer
with 5–6 years of hands-on experience to join our team in a
remote role
. You’ll be responsible for building scalable backend services, working with microservices, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD while taking end-to-end ownership of deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance backend services using
Java & Spring Boot

• Work with
microservice architecture
and RESTful APIs

• Develop migration scripts and validation for platform/account migration

• Design MySQL schemas and optimize queries

• Build search and indexing capabilities using
Elasticsearch

• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments

• Write clean,



well-tested and maintainable code

• Take end-to-end ownership of deliverables from day one

Requirements

• 5–6 years of hands-on
backend development experience

• Strong expertise in
Java & Spring Boot

• Good experience with
microservices and REST APIs

• Hands-on scripting experience

• Robust working knowledge of
AWS and cloud-native patterns

• Solid experience with
MySQL and Elasticsearch

• Experience with
CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows

• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants such as
Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools

• Ability to ramp up quickly and work independently
