A Bakery Products Factory Operations Manager is responsible for leading, organizing, and controlling all daily production activities to ensure efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective manufacturing of baked goods. This role bridges the gap between top management strategy and shop-floor execution, focusing on optimizing production, maintaining safety standards (HACCP/BRCGS), and leading the production team. Key Responsibilities1. Production Planning & Execution
- Develop, schedule, and execute daily/weekly/monthly production plans to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines.
- Ensure maximum efficiency, minimum waste, and optimal resource utilization on the production floor.
- Oversee all stages of production: mixing, proofing, baking, cooling, and packing.

2. Quality Control & Food Safety
- Ensure strict compliance with HACCP, BRCGS, FSSAI, and other regulatory standards.
- Maintain high-quality standards for taste, texture, appearance, and weight consistency.
- Enforce strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP).

Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of bakers, supervisors, and packing staff.
- Plan staff shifts, manage labor costs, and handle recruitment and training.
- Promote a culture of safety and high performance.

4. Financial & Operational Efficiency
- Manage operational budgets, control manufacturing costs, and reduce waste.
- Analyze operational KPIs (production output, downtime, yield) and implement improvements.
- Oversee machinery maintenance and work with the engineering team to minimize downtime.

5. Inventory & Supply Chain
- Manage raw material, packaging, and finished goods inventory, ensuring FIFO/FEFO compliance.
- Coordinate with suppliers and procurement for timely delivery of ingredients.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Minimum 3–10+ years in a bakery or food manufacturing workplace, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
