Job Description

Job Title - Mechanical Designer (CATIA V5 and Enovia)

Experience - 3- 8 Years

Location - Chennai

Notice - Immediate to 15 days

Required Skills:
- Create and modify 3D mechanical components and assemblies using CATIA V5.
- Prepare and update 2D engineering drawings with dimensions, tolerances and GD&T.;
- Perform assembly, clearance and interference checks.
- Apply DFM/DFA principles and support manufacturing feasibility.
- Perform tolerance stack-up and resolve design/interface issues.
- Manage product structures, BOMs and engineering data in ENOVIA.
- Handle engineering changes, revisions and release workflows.
- Conduct design reviews and implement technical feedback.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, suppliers and other engineering teams.
- Ensure designs meet technical requirements, quality standards and project timelines.




- Support continuous improvement, standardization and design optimization.

- Generative Shape Design (GSD)
- Sheet Metal Design
- DMU / interference analysis
- MBD / FTA
- CATIA Knowledge ware.
- Automotive, Aerospace, Rail or Industrial Equipment experience.
