Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Manager to manage sales and marketing operations within the assigned territory. The Area Manager will be responsible for team performance, customer acquisition, vendor development, institutional sales and achieving assigned business targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor sales activities across the assigned territory.
- Lead, guide and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Develop current business opportunities through direct sales, institutional sales and channel partners.
- Identify and onboard suitable dealers, retailers and vendors.
- Build relationships with schools, colleges, corporates and other institutions.
- Monitor daily sales activities, customer enquiries, follow-ups and conversions.
- Conduct regular field visits to understand market conditions and customer requirements.
- Support the team in closing important customers and institutional deals.
- Track sales performance and prepare regular reports for management.




- Identify underperforming areas and implement corrective action.
- Coordinate with the marketing and telecalling teams for lead generation and follow-up.
- Handle important customer escalations and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing and market opportunities.
- Ensure proper product demonstrations and communication of product features.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and key customers.
- Ensure CRM data and sales reports are updated accurately.
- Conduct regular team reviews, training and performance discussions.

Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in sales, business development or territory management.
- Previous experience managing a sales team is preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of local market development and field sales.
