1. About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Medical Superintendent to lead the clinical and administrative operations of our 50-bedded hospital in Mangaldai, Assam.

The Medical Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring high standards of patient care, clinical governance, medical administration, regulatory compliance, patient safety, and coordination between medical, nursing, and support services. The ideal candidate should possess robust leadership, communication, and healthcare management skills, with a demonstrated ability to improve operational efficiency and patient experience.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesClinical & Medical Administration
- Oversee the day-to-day functioning of all clinical departments and medical services.
- Ensure delivery of safe, ethical, efficient, and patient-centred healthcare.
- Monitor clinical practices and ensure adherence to established clinical protocols and SOPs.
- Coordinate with consultants, medical officers, nursing staff, technicians, and other healthcare professionals.




- Ensure appropriate availability and deployment of medical manpower.
- Review clinical performance, patient outcomes, complaints, incidents, and areas requiring corrective action.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among different departments.

Hospital Operations
- Supervise the overall functioning of the hospital in coordination with the administrative team.
- Monitor bed occupancy, patient flow, admissions, discharges, transfers, and emergency services.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement measures to improve efficiency.
- Ensure adequate availability of essential medicines, medical supplies, equipment, and other clinical resources.
- Participate in planning and implementation of new clinical services and hospital initiatives.
