Job Title: Social Media Manager - ALTA School of Technology, Pune (ADYPU Campus)

Location: ADYPU Campus, Pune (in-person, full-time on-site - not remote/hybrid)

Reports to: Marketing Head

About the Role:
ALTA school of technology is looking for a Social Media Manager to be based full-time at our Pune campus, working hands-on with our on-campus video editor to produce and publish content that reflects real campus life - student journeys, faculty, events, and the AI-first learning setting rather than managing the channel remotely. This is a campus-embedded role: you'll be present for shoots, student interactions, and events as they happen, not briefing them from a distance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute social media strategy for the Pune campus, aligned with ALTA's overall brand and enrollment goals.
- Build monthly content calendars centered on live campus activity - classes, events, hackathons, guest sessions, placements.
- Track social media trends, platform updates,



and competitor activity (especially regional players active in Pune/Maharashtra).

2. Content Creation & Publishing (On-Campus)
- Work daily, in person, with the campus video editor to plan and shoot reels, promos, and testimonials on-site and not via remote handoff.
- Be physically present for campus events, student shoots, and faculty sessions to capture content as it happens.
- Publish across LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube.
- Write captions, blogs, and promotional copy specific to Pune campus stories.

3. Community Management
- Manage day-to-day comments, DMs, and inquiries across platforms, with campus context to answer prospective-student questions accurately.
- Build an engaged local community among Maharashtra -region students, parents, and alumni.

4. Campaign Management
- Plan and execute organic and paid campaigns for Maharashtra-specific admissions cycles and events.
