Role & responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, panels, motors, and control systems across the plant.
- Carry out routine preventive maintenance checks on electrical equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults quickly to minimize production downtime.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and protocols at all times.
- Coordinate with the Shift Supervisor on urgent breakdowns or equipment issues.
- Maintain records of maintenance work, repairs, and spare parts usage.
- Support installation of current machinery or electrical upgrades as required.
- Ensure proper earthing, load management, and adherence to fire/electrical safety norms.
- Assist in energy-efficiency initiatives where applicable.
