Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2 production support for Java-based applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
- Monitor application health, system performance, batch jobs, interfaces, and scheduled processes in production environments.
- Troubleshoot application issues, analyze logs, identify root causes, and implement appropriate fixes or workarounds.
- Work closely with development, QA, infrastructure, database, and business teams to resolve production issues.
- Perform SQL queries for data validation, issue investigation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and execute PL/SQL scripts for data analysis, production support activities, and task automation.
- Investigate database-related issues, including query performance, data inconsistencies, and transaction failures.
- Troubleshoot Java application issues involving APIs, services, database connectivity, and application components.
- Work with Unix/Linux environments for application monitoring, log analysis, file handling, and basic shell scripting.




- Analyze application and system logs to identify errors, failures, and performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Document production issues, root-cause analysis, resolutions, and operational procedures.
- Support application releases, deployments, and post-production validation activities.
- Follow defined SLAs and escalation procedures for critical production incidents.
- Work in a FinTech/financial-services setting, with an understanding of financial transactions, payments, banking processes, or related business workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 0–3 years of experience in Production Support, Application Support, Software Support, or a similar role.
- Good understanding of Java and Java-based applications.
- Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring/Spring Boot is preferred.
