Assistant Manager - Public Relations & Corporate Communication

Canon India Private Limited is looking for an Assistant Manager - Public Relations & Corporate Communication to drive the company's PR and corporate communication initiatives. The role focuses on managing PR agency deliverables, coordinating with internal stakeholders, strengthening media relationships, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all communication channels. The incumbent will play a key role in enhancing Canon India's corporate reputation through strategic communication, impactful content development, and effective media engagement.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in Public Relations or Corporate Communications, preferably with experience working in or managing PR agencies. Exposure to B2B, B2C, and technology sectors is preferred. The role requires solid communication skills, stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. Agency Management & Execution




- Act as the primary point of contact for the PR agency.
- Develop communication briefs, key messaging, and campaign directions.
- Ensure timely delivery of PR activities through regular follow-ups.
- Review and improve agency deliverables, including:
- Press releases
- Media pitches
- Communication materials
- Drive execution excellence and ensure campaign timelines are met.

2. Internal Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business updates and inputs.
- Ensure alignment of communication messaging across departments.
- Manage approvals and coordinate announcements and campaigns.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.

3. Media Outreach & Relationship Management
- Support the PR agency in media outreach initiatives.
