Position: Accountant – GST, TDS & Taxation

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Accountant with strong knowledge of accounting, GST, TDS, Tally, income tax, and other statutory compliances. The candidate should be capable of independently handling day-to-day accounts and coordinating with management, auditors, consultants, banks, and government departments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries and financial records in Tally.
- Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and other applicable GST compliances.
- Handle TDS calculations, deductions, payments, returns, and certificates.
- Maintain purchase, sales, receipt, payment, journal, and expense records.
- Prepare and reconcile GST, TDS, bank, customer, and supplier ledgers.
- Handle income tax and other applicable tax compliances.
- Assist with preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and other financial reports.
- Maintain proper records and documentation for audit and statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with CA,



tax consultants, auditors, banks, customers, and suppliers.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and maintain proper ageing reports.
- Verify invoices, GST details, tax calculations, and supporting documents.
- Ensure timely payment and filing of statutory dues and returns.
- Handle professional tax, advance tax, income tax, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Assist management with financial reports, budgeting, costing, and other accounting-related matters.
- Keep updated with changes in GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable tax laws.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Strong practical knowledge of Tally/Tally Prime, GST, TDS and taxation.
- Positive knowledge of Income Tax and other statutory compliances.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
