Designation: Assistant Manager

Overview

The Assistant Manager will lead and oversee the taxation and accounting functions for clients and would be an escalation POC for client, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and standards. This role involves managing a team, coordinating with clients, and ensuring timely and accurate completion of all tax and audit-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of taxation and accounting professionals, ensuring quality deliverables and adherence to timelines.
- Manage client engagements and coordinate with stakeholders to understand requirements and drive execution.
- Oversee finalization of financial statements and ensure compliance with Accounting Standards, Companies Act, and Income Tax regulations.
- Review and supervise Tax Audit Reports, Income Tax Returns, GST returns, TDS compliances, and other statutory filings.
- Handle tax assessments, regulatory notices, audits, and liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and clients.
- Provide advisory support on Income Tax, GST, DTAA,



and international taxation matters, including 15CA/15CB certifications.
- Monitor GST reconciliations and annual compliance filings, including GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C.
- Drive process improvements, strengthen compliance controls, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and team development to ensure seamless client service delivery.

Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) 0-3 years of relevant experience (excluding article ship experience)
- Strong knowledge of income tax, GST, TDS, and DTAA.
- Preferred Hands on experience on Tally, Zoho Books, Genius
- Proficiency in MS office
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
