As a Lead Accounts Payable Accountant you will play a central role in managing the end-to-end accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across financial operations.

Role and impact:
• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices, check requests, and expense reports.
• Lead the accounts payable team, oversee transitions, knowledge transfer, and provide training.
• Participate in meetings and projects to align with evolving business requirements.
• Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), templates, and guidelines.
• Prepare payment runs and wire payments; ensure timely disbursements.
• Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with tax documentation.
• Delegate tasks, oversee daily accounts payable activities, and support team members in meeting deadlines.
• Provide audit documentation, enforce internal controls, and ensure adherence to standards.
• Analyze accounts payable workflows, recommend efficiency improvements, and implement best practices.




• Ensure adherence to internal controls on a timely basis.
• Work effectively with procurement, project management, and business users across locations and functions.

What you will bring:
• B.Com or M.Com/MBA degree
• 9-12 years of related experience in addition to specialized expertise
• Strong accounting skills with a solid understanding of accounting principles and concepts
• Knowledge of core accounting functions, with expertise in Accounts Payable
• Strong analytical skills • Good communication skills with fluency in English
• Valuable command over Excel & Power query and similar reporting tools like BI.
• Working knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA
• Stakeholder management skills to build and maintain productive relationships
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
