Role Overview
The Chief Project Officer will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership across the organizations real estate project portfolio. The role will oversee projects from acquisition and due diligence through approvals, planning, execution, financial performance, and successful completion, while ensuring alignment with the company's business plan and growth objectives.
The role requires solid expertise in project development, financial planning, strategic decision-making, stakeholder management, regulatory coordination, and project performance management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development of real estate projects from acquisition, due diligence, approvals, planning, and execution to completion.
- Develop and monitor project plans, budgets, timelines, cash flows, and key milestones.
- Ensure projects are delivered within approved cost, timelines, quality, and safety parameters.
- Evaluate project feasibility, financial models, investment returns, and development potential.
- Lead coordination for project acquisitions, due diligence, negotiations, and financial closures.
- Coordinate with internal teams including Project Management, Design, Finance, Legal, Procurement, Sales, and Business Development.
- Liaise with government authorities and stakeholders to ensure timely project approvals and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor project risks, identify bottlenecks, and drive timely corrective actions.
- Conduct regular project reviews and report performance, risks, and key decisions to the top management.
- Lead and mentor project teams while driving accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
