Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electronic circuits, schematics and PCB layouts for EV controllers, motor controllers and power electronics.
- Select components and prepare BOM, Gerber files and manufacturing documents.
- Design single/multi-layer PCBs with proper component placement, routing, grounding and thermal considerations.
- Develop, test and debug electronic prototypes and PCB assemblies.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and support design validation and product testing.
- Coordinate with embedded software, mechanical teams, & testing teams.
- Work with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors for prototype and production requirements.
- Improve existing electronic and PCB designs based on testing and field requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of analog/digital electronics and PCB design.
- Hands-on experience with Altium, KiCad, OrCAD/Allegro or similar tools.
- Understanding of power electronics, EMI/EMC, signal integrity and grounding.
- Good knowledge of electronic components, datasheets and circuit design.
- Knowledge of CAN, motor controllers and embedded systems is an advantage.
Qualification
B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, E&TC; or related field.
Preferred Experience
Experience in EV electronics, motor controllers, BLDC/PMSM/SRM, power electronics or automotive electronics.
