Role & responsibilities

1. Deployment of DPDP & ISO27001

2. Assist with Data Discovery, Data Classification, Data Minimization and ROPA

3. Coordinate with Legal, IT, Information Security and business teams to implement Privacy and Security Controls

4. Maintain DPDP compliance documentation, registers and audit evidence.

5. Technical background with knowledge of DPDP Act/Rules, ISO 27001/ISO 27701, and ability to translate legal requirement to technical controls.

6. Assist in preparing and reviewing privacy notices, consent mechanisms, data-processing clauses and data protection documentation.

7. Coordinate with IT teams to understand and assess technical controls such as access control, encryption, logging, backup, data retention and security monitoring.

8. Support assessment of personal data breach incidents, including documentation, impact assessment and regulatory/management reporting.

9. Conduct DPDP awareness and training for employees and prepare department-specific training material.

10. Support third-party/vendor privacy assessments and DPDP compliance questionnaires.
