About the Role

Auxein Medical is looking for a skilled and motivated
Mid-Level Design Engineer
to join our product development team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, improving, and documenting
medical devices and surgical/orthopedic instruments
, with a strong focus on precision, manufacturability, quality, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop
surgical instruments, orthopedic instruments, and medical devices
using 3D CAD software.
- Create detailed
3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, assemblies, and BOMs
.
- Develop designs considering
DFM/DFA, tolerances, ergonomics, functionality, and manufacturability
.
- Work closely with manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and R&D; teams for product development and improvements.




- Review and optimize existing instrument designs for
performance, usability, cost, and manufacturability
.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, drawings, and design records.
- Support prototype development, testing, validation, and design verification activities.
- Understand and apply
medical-grade materials
, including SS 316L, titanium, and other suitable materials.
- Coordinate with vendors for
CNC machining, forging, finishing, and other manufacturing processes
.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable
medical-device quality requirements and design controls
.
- Contribute to cutting-edge product concepts and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.Tech / Diploma in
Mechanical Engineering
or equivalent.
- 3–6 years of experience
in medical device, surgical instrument, orthopedic instrument, or precision engineering design.
- Strong proficiency in
SolidWorks
or eq
