Overview:

We are looking for an IT Engineer with strong expertise in Linux environments to support and maintain our IT infrastructure. The role focuses on Linux system administration, security, deployments, and user support in a structured enterprise environment world-wide.

Responsibilities:
- Administer and support Linux servers and desktop systems
- Ensure Linux system security, including access control, firewalls, and secure remote access on Linux systems
- Deploy and manage Linux systems using configuration and deployment tools
- Develop scripts to automate system administration tasks
- Integrate Linux systems with Active Directory
- Support VPN and secure connectivity solutions
- Follow ITIL-based processes and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills




- Expert knowledge of Linux administration and Linux desktop environments
- Strong experience with Linux security (SSH, sudo, firewalling)
- Advanced experience with deployment and configuration tools (e.g. Ansible, Foreman, Salt)
- Advanced scripting skills (Shell, Python, Perl)
- Experience with Active Directory integration and VPN technologies
- Basic knowledge of automation and ITIL processes
