Role & responsibilities
- Plan and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all plant machinery.
- Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for recurring equipment failures.
- Supervise and guide the maintenance team, including electricians, fitters, and technicians.
- Ensure timely repair and servicing of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, spare parts inventory, and equipment history.
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize disruption during maintenance work.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce breakdown frequency.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards and regulations.
- Prepare maintenance budgets and track costs against plan.
- Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of recent machinery.
