Computer Operator – Job Description

Reporting To: HR
Location: As per company requirement

Job Purpose

To handle day-to-day computer operations, data entry, documentation, system-related work, and maintain accurate records for smooth office operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily data entry and maintain computer-based records.
- Prepare and update Excel sheets, reports, and documents.
- Handle MS Excel, MS Word, email, printing, scanning, and internet-related work.
- Maintain employee, attendance, payroll, stock, and other office records as assigned.
- Enter and verify data accurately and maintain proper documentation.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required by management.
- Maintain files and ensure proper data backup and record keeping.
- Coordinate with HR, Accounts, Admin, and other departments for data requirements.
- Troubleshoot basic computer, printer, scanner, and software-related issues.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of company data.




- Perform any other computer-related work assigned by management.

Required Skills
- Positive knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
- Basic knowledge of email and internet operations.
- Good typing speed and accuracy.
- Data management and record-keeping skills.
- Basic computer troubleshooting knowledge.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: 12th Pass / Graduate / Diploma in Computer Applications or equivalent.
- Experience: 1–3 years in a similar role preferred.
- Freshers with good computer and Excel knowledge may also be considered.

- Accuracy of data entry and reports.
- Timely completion of assigned work.
- Proper maintenance of records.
- Computer and system support efficiency.
- Confidentiality and accuracy of company data.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
