Job Requirements*
- 610 years of software development experience with strong hands-on expertise in Java and object-oriented programming.
- Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem, including dependency injection, configuration, validation, exception handling, and data access.
- Experience designing, developing, and consuming secure RESTful APIs and independently deployable microservices.
- Valuable understanding of microservices patterns, service decomposition, synchronous and asynchronous communication, API versioning, resiliency, observability, and distributed system challenges.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB CRUD operations, data modelling, aggregation pipelines, indexing, query optimisation, and schema design.
- Working knowledge of MongoDB Compass; exposure to Robo 3T or Studio 3T is desirable.
- Experience with MongoDB Atlas for cloud-based database deployment and management is preferred.
- Experience with unit and integration testing using JUnit, Mockito,



and relevant Spring testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with Git, Maven or Gradle, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and Agile delivery practices is preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and communicate technical risks and dependencies proactively.

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
- Build secure, versioned, and well-documented REST APIs with appropriate validation, exception handling, and performance controls.
- Design MongoDB collections and documents; implement CRUD operations, aggregation pipelines, and efficient query patterns.
- Define and manage MongoDB indexing strategies and optimise queries based on application access patterns.
