Role & responsibilities
- Execute technology transfer and scale-up of API manufacturing processes from R&D; to commercial manufacturing.
- Prepare and review technology transfer, scale-up and process engineering documents.
- Evaluate lab processes, conduct scale-up calculations, what-if studies, and process trials.
- Conduct HazOp/PHA studies and ensure process safety measures.
- Prepare material & energy balances, process cost analysis and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
- Assess manufacturing capacity and develop capacity enhancement plans.
- Prepare CAPEX documents, PFDs, P&IDs; and basic engineering packages.
- Support production in deviation investigation, troubleshooting, CAPA and process optimization.
- Monitor process validation batches and maintain technical data for archival.
- Develop and implement solvent and catalyst recovery/recycling processes to improve yield, cost and sustainability.
- Coordinate with R&D;, Production, Safety, Engineering and SRP teams for successful project execution
