About us
We're building FitEat, an AI-powered fitness and nutrition app. We're pre-launch and building our audience on Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts *before* we launch. You'll be our editor, turning founder shot clips and educational content into scroll stopping short form videos.

Note: the product is still in the works, so this is content first: founder talking-head, fitness and nutrition tips, build-in-public, and trend-based videos. You will not be waiting on a finished app to make great content.

What you'll do
- Edit 8 to 12 short-form videos a month (Reels, Shorts, TikTok) from founder-shot footage and screen recordings
- Nail a hook in the first 1 to 3 seconds and keep pacing tight for retention
- Add clean subtitles, sound design, trending audio, and simple text animations
- Repurpose one long recording into several short clips
- Track trends and formats and bring ideas, not just execute
- Turnaround of 24 to 48 hours per video

You should have
- A portfolio of short-form videos you've edited (this matters most)
- Fluency in Video Editing Softwares
- A real feel for hooks,



pacing, and retention on Reels and Shorts
- Clean subtitle work and good rhythm with audio
- Reliability and quick communication

Nice to have
- Interest in fitness, health, or food
- Motion graphics and thumbnail design
- Ability to shoot or direct footage
