Role Description





Handles everything between the file format and the linguist — extraction, segmentation, tag protection and reintegration — so that content survives the round trip intact.

What you will own

•
Prepare source files for translation: filter configuration, text extraction, inline tag protection, segmentation rules.

•
Reintegrate post-edited content into the source format and validate rendering, encoding and placement.

•
Diagnose and resolve file-level defects, and document those originating upstream so they can be raised properly.

•
Build and maintain conversion and validation tooling for recurring formats.

•
Support translation memory and terminology exchange work — TMX, TBX, XLIFF and segmentation rule files.

What you need

•
3+ years in localisation engineering.

•
Robust XML and XLIFF skills; comfort with encoding issues and inline tag structures.

•
Scripting ability — Python or equivalent — for repeatable file handli
