Role & responsibilities :
- Lead end-to-end highway design projects including feasibility, preliminary, and detailed engineering
- Oversee geometric design of highways, expressways, interchanges, and urban roads
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and guidelines (e.g., IRC, MoRTH, AASHTO where applicable)
- Manage and review design outputs such as alignment plans, profiles, cross-sections, and reports
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (structures, drainage, traffic, geotechnical, utilities)
- Interface with clients, authorities, and stakeholders for design approvals and reviews
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation
- Lead value engineering initiatives and optimize design solutions
- Review BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documentation




- Ensure quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) in all design deliverables
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and design teams
- Support business development, proposals, and technical bids

Preferred candidate profile
- Experience in EPC and/or consultancy environments
- Exposure to national highway projects, PPP projects, or international standards
- Knowledge of BIM and digital engineering practices
- Chartered Engineer or equivalent qualified certification
- Experience with projects funded by agencies such as World Bank, ADB, etc.
