Network Engineer / CCNA Certified Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled CCNA-certified candidate to join our IT and Networking team. The candidate will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting network infrastructure including routers, switches, wireless devices, firewalls, and network security systems.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 network devices.

Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches.

Monitor network performance and ensure maximum uptime.

Configure VLANs, STP, trunking, routing protocols, and IP addressing.

Handle basic firewall and network security configurations.

Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and wireless connectivity issues.

Maintain network documentation and topology diagrams.

Support implementation of Wi-Fi solutions and structured cabling.

Monitor network devices using SNMP and network monitoring tools.

Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for issue resolution.

Provide technical support for network-related problems.





Ensure network security best practices are followed.

Required Skills

Good understanding of TCP/IP, Subnetting, VLANs, Routing & Switching.

Knowledge of Cisco technologies and networking fundamentals.

Experience with DHCP, DNS, NAT, ACL, and VPN concepts.

Basic understanding of wireless networking and firewall configuration.

Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Positive communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.

Knowledge of virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V or VMware is an advantage.

Experience with Cisco, HPE, Ruckus, Sophos, or enterprise networking products is a plus.

Experience

Fresher or 1–3 years of experience in networking and IT support.
