The Associate 2 will be predominantly responsible to:
- Be an integral part of teamsassigned as a fully integrated team member for US auditengagement teams.
- Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of industry-specific audit procedures.
- Ensure the work is performed with high quality and completed within agreed turnaround time.
- Timely raiseany issues identified to seniors, managersand engagement-team pointsof contact so that quality and turnaround time are not impacted.
- Provide clarifications, train and mentorjunior associates on a timelybasis on industry-specific audit and accounting knowledge and client-specific matters on audit work papers.
- Perform upfront reviews wherever required for deliverables and as advised by the team lead.
- Plan and organize the work in such a way that quality and efficiency are not impactedon the deliverables.
- Interact and seek clarifications from US rotational and engagement-team points of contact.
- Work on improvements in audit work papers based on engagement-team feedback.
- Continuously adoptprocess improvements and work towardsimproving efficiency in the performance of audit.
- Develop self by participating in and developing others by facilitating audit conceptual trainings.
- Participate in strategic initiatives and/or corporate social responsibility programs.
Educational Qualifications
- Qualified CA or US CPA with or withouta Master’s degree in Finance& Accounting with first division (60%).
- Candidates who have completed articleship (aligned with ICAI campus standards).
- Fresh CAs or candidates with approximately 6 months to 1.5 years of experience.
Mandatory Technical Skills
- Attention to detail and quality consciousness.
- Be a quick learner and demonstrate adaptability to change.
- Should be willing to and capableof delivering undertight timelines, basedon business needs, including working on weekends.
- Should be open to travel to the US on short- and long-term assignments.
