Job Title: Category Lead – Movies and Series (Syndication)

Role Overview:

As the Category Lead - Movies and Series for Zee Syndication Business, you will be responsible for driving the content syndication strategy for the movies and series category. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to maximize revenue, enhance brand visibility, and drive partnerships across platforms for Zee’s content portfolio.

You will report directly to the Business Head, Syndication and be expected to lead the strategic vision, execution, and operational management of the movies and series syndication business. This role requires solid content management expertise (a love for content), as well as a deep understanding of the OTT, broadcasting, and digital content landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Strategy & Management
- Develop and execute a robust content syndication strategy for Movies and Series,



aligning with Zee's overall business goals and objectives.
- Curate, manage, and prioritize the catalogue of available movies and series for syndication, based on market demand and business requirements.
- Collaborate with internal content teams to ensure alignment on available content and ensure seamless syndication across platforms.
- Oversee the packaging, pricing, and promotion of content for syndication across multiple platforms.

2. Partner and Stakeholder Management
- Map key distribution partners (OTT platforms, broadcasters, digital platforms, etc.) to grow syndication revenue.
- Assist Sales team to prepare pitch decks and identify key value propositions based on content availability.

3. Revenue Generation & Reporting
- Report revenue generation efforts within the Movies and Series syndication portfolio, and track revenue targets.
