Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial packages, variance analyses, and management reporting packs in line with MEC timelines.
Month-End Close (MEC): Execute and oversee the end-to-end MEC process, including P&L; and Balance Sheet finalization, journal entries, accruals, and sub-ledger reconciliations. Prepare Balance sheet presentations and risk analysis to develop & implement appropriate controls. getting BS reviwed with stakeholders including ownership on actions from BS calls.
Internal Controls: Maintain and strengthen internal financial controls, ensuring adherence to GAAP/IFRS and local statutory requirements.
Audit & Compliance: Closure of audit with stakeholders, including preparation of financials for the entity.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with finance teams, operations, and business stakeholders to resolve accounting discrepancies and analyze cost drivers.
