Job Title: Head of Production AGM / DGM

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Head of Production (AGM/DGM) to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations in a high-mix, high-volume automotive environment. The role will be responsible for production, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, safety and operational excellence, with solid ownership of unionized workforce and industrial relations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily production operations to achieve volume, mix, quality and delivery targets.
- Manage high SKU complexity, changeovers, capacity utilization, line balancing and manpower deployment.
- Lead a large unionized workforce, including industrial relations, wage discussions, grievance handling and statutory compliance.
- Drive OEE, FPY, productivity, SMED, TPM,



Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, VDA and OEM requirements.
- Drive zero-defect culture, traceability, poka-yoke, 8D, RCA and layered process audits.
- Partner with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, SCM and Engineering for production and delivery performance.
- Support APQP, PPAP, NPI and SOP readiness.
- Promote safety, cost reduction, manpower optimization and digital shopfloor improvements.
- Lead and develop production managers, supervisors and frontline teams.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, SMED, TPM, IATF, VDA, APQP and PPAP.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
