1. ROLE PURPOSE

The Assistant Manager – Accounts will be a key middle-management position responsible for managing day-to-day accounts operations, strengthening financial controls, ensuring timely and accurate accounting, and taking ownership of the company's implemented ERP system from the Accounts & Finance perspective.

This is not only a data-entry or voucher-processing role.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that:

TRANSACTION → ERP ENTRY → VERIFICATION → CONTROL → REPORT → ANALYSIS

is properly implemented and followed.

The role will act as a bridge between:

Management ↔ Accounts Team ↔ Other Departments ↔ ERP System

MOST IMPORTANT EXPECTATIONWE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR ONLY AN ACCOUNTANT.

We require a solid middle-management Accounts professional who can take ownership of daily accounting operations and ensure that the ERP system is properly implemented and used.

The candidate must be capable of:
- Taking ownership of the Accounts function
- Managing the accounts team
- Reviewing day-to-day transactions
- Ensuring timely ERP entries
- Identifying accounting gaps
- Improving processes
- Coordinating with ERP implementation teams
- Identifying ERP errors and missing reports
- Ensuring users follow the system
- Reducing manual dependency
- Creating accounting controls
- Preparing MIS and management reports
- Following up with other departments for pending documents and data
- Escalating critical financial and system issues
