Required Technical and Qualified Expertise
- 10+ Years of experience with IBM i (AS400) environments, with a focus on DB2 administration and performance management.
- Proven expertise in database indexing, query optimization, and system performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with IBM iDoctor tools, including Job Watcher, Plan Cache, and Collection Services.
- Deep understanding of DB2 for i architecture, data structures, and performance diagnostics.
- Strong SQL skills and ability to analyze and optimize complex queries.
- Experience in troubleshooting database and system performance issues.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Experience with capacity planning and workload management in IBM i environments.
- Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery solutions for DB2 on IBM i.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for database administration tasks.
- Experience working in large enterprise or managed services environments (BFSI preferred).
- Exposure to integration with application middleware or legacy systems.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and performance monitoring frameworks.
