Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Transformer Design Engineer with hands-on experience in transformer electrical design. The candidate will be responsible for designing Solar, Power, Distribution and other Transformers up to 33 kV class and 20 MVA capacity, as per customer specifications and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform transformer electrical design calculations for core, winding, losses, impedance, flux density, current density and insulation.
- Prepare and review design drawings, winding details, GA drawings and BOM.
- Study customer specifications and select appropriate design parameters and materials.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality and Testing teams for design implementation.
- Analyze test results and recommend necessary design modifications.
- Support design optimization,



material optimization and cost reduction.
- Maintain design calculations, drawings, BOMs and revision records.
- Provide technical support during manufacturing and testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering.
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Transformer Design.
- Experience in Power, Distribution, Solar or Special-Purpose Transformers.
- Strong knowledge of transformer electrical design and calculations.
- Good knowledge of relevant IS/IEC standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and coordination skills.

Salary

₹30,000 – ₹37,000 per month
Salary will be negotiable based on relevant experience and technical skills.
