Role Description
The Category Planner is a full time, on-site role based in Siliguri, responsible for planning and optimizing product categories to support sales growth and profitability. This role involves analyzing sales and customer data, forecasting demand,



and developing assortment and pricing strategies aligned with A1 Bazaar’s value proposition. The Category Planner collaborates with buying, merchandising, and store operations teams to manage inventory levels, ensure timely replenishment, and support promotions and seasonal campaigns. Day-to-day activities include monitoring category performance, identifying opportunities and risks, preparing reports and dashboards, and recommending actions to improve margins and stock turns. The role also contributes to maintaining a customer-focused product mix that reflects local preferences and market trends.

Qualifications
