Role Description:

Everrooted is looking for an Industrial Product Designer to take physical products from concept through final manufacturing.

Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, or similar CAD software
- Solid understanding of DFM/DFA and manufacturing processes
- Experience with 3D printing, prototyping and physical product development
- Knowledge of materials, tolerances, fits and assembly
- Understanding of processes such as injection moulding, CNC, sheet metal, thermoforming, extrusion and/or textile manufacturing
- Ability to prepare technical drawings, BOMs and production-ready specifications
- Experience working directly with manufacturers and suppliers




- Candidates should possess strong Product Design and Design Thinking skills.
- Candidates should possess Visual Design skills to create clear, appealing product aesthetics.
- Candidates should possess User Research and UX Research skills to inform user-centered design decisions.

Job Requirements:
- Develop products end-to-end.
- Create detailed
3D CAD models, technical drawings, and production specifications
- Develop
DFM/DFA-ready designs
, including tolerances, fits and assembly considerations
- Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes
- Work on prototyping, sampling, testing, and design iterations
- Create
BOMs, component specifications and manufacturing documentation
- Work directly with manufacturers and suppliers to resolve production and engineering issues
- Optimize products for cost, functionality, durability and scalability
- Take designs through sampling, tooling, and production approval
