Business Rationale
India's healthcare infrastructure is expanding rapidly on sustained government commitment (record FY26-27 health budget) and a structural shortage of hospital beds against global benchmarks. This creates a durable, multi-year advisory prospect across hospital real estate, site selection and transaction advisory that currently has no dedicated/ single accountable sector owner. This dedicated role is designed to close that gap.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the revenue topline and growth strategy for the healthcare sector vertical, covering hospitals, diagnostics, senior living and life-sciences real estate.
- Advise hospital chains, PE investors and healthcare REITs/operators on real estate strategy, site selection, feasibility, due diligence and project design and execution.
- Engage with Alternatives and Government advisory teams to ascertain central and state government bodies on health-infrastructure PPP, land allocation and policy-linked opportunities (e.g., Ayushman Bharat-linked capacity expansion).
- Contribute to sector research and thought leadership on healthcare real estate demand-supply, design and development services, positioning the firm as the reference advisor for the vertical.
- Build and lead a specialist healthcare advisory team, coordinating with Capital Markets, Valuation, Alternative Advisory & Transaction Management and Project Development teams.

Required Qualification & Experience
- 15–20 years in healthcare infrastructure/real estate advisory, healthcare-focused investment banking, or hospital operations/strategy, with a track record of stand-alone hospitals or healthcare infrastructure projects in India.
- Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory frameworks, PPP structures and hospital operating economics alongwith projects budgeting, design and execution.
