Role Description
The Accountant role at INDIA FILINGS PVT LTD is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. On a day-to-day basis, the Accountant will record and reconcile financial transactions, prepare and review ledgers, and ensure accuracy in books of accounts. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, assisting with budgeting, managing accounts payable and receivable, and monitoring cash flows.



The role also involves supporting tax and regulatory filings, coordinating with auditors, and maintaining compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The Accountant will work closely with internal teams and clients to clarify financial data, respond to queries, and contribute to process improvements in financial operations.

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of core accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing activities.
- Familiarity with Indian taxation, statutory compliance, and regulatory filings relevant to businesses.
- Proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally, ERP systems, or equivalent) and MS Excel.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
