· MSc in Organic Chemistry with a good academic background.
· Some laboratory experience in synthesis of various organic compounds.
· Experience or a sound understanding of basic analytical and separation principles (TLC, HPLC, NMR, LC/ MS and others).
· Valuable oral and written communication skills.
Role and Responsibilities
:
· Set up reactions for the synthesis of new chemical entities, including reactions, work ups and purifications, under the supervision of experienced chemists.
· Required to look up databases to come up with reaction schemes for synthesis of novel compounds.
· Characterization of compounds with analytical data (NMR, LCMS, HPLC etc.,)
· Maintain Lab Notebook.
· Handle the lab equipment as per SOP’s
· Understanding of systems and process pertaining to health, safety and work environment
