Job Title: US Business Tax Reviewer

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced US Business Tax Reviewer with strong hands-on experience in reviewing US business tax returns. The candidate will review returns prepared by the India team, provide clear and actionable review notes, resolve technical queries, and ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Review partnership and corporate income tax returns, including Form 1065, 1120, and 1120S, prepared by the India team, and provide clear, documented review notes.

• Handle a return mix of approximately 60% Partnerships (1065), 30% S-Corporations (1120S), and 10% C-Corporations (1120).

• Review complicated transactions, including 1031 exchanges and Section 754 basis step-ups for partnerships.

• Confirm that workpapers are complete and adequately support the positions taken on the return before sign-off.





• Resolve open items and technical questions raised by preparers and escalate issues to the US team with a proposed solution.

• Provide technical assistance, tax planning support, and research on US income tax matters.

• Coach and develop preparers by explaining the reasoning behind review comments and identifying recurring errors.

• Track return status and turnaround time to ensure work is delivered on time and within budget.

• Stay updated on tax changes and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements and policies, including timely time entry.

• Maintain required CPE and meet Firm and licensing standards.

Must-Have Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience reviewing US Business Tax Returns.

• Solid experience reviewing 1065, 1120, and 1120S returns.

• Experience reviewing complicated transactions, including 1031 exchanges and Section 754 basis step-ups for partnerships.

• Ability to write clear and actionable review notes that preparers can understand and implement without a
