88 Pictures is looking for an experienced communications qualified to lead the studio's public relations, social media, and brand communication function across both its animation and VFX business and its gaming division, 88 Games.

Role Overview

The Manager Public Relations and Social Media will own the studio's external voice across social media, press and industry platforms, covering both the animation and VFX business and 88 Games, the studio's gaming division. The role covers annual communication planning, media strategy,



campaign ownership, influencer and creator marketing, creative direction and the management of internal team members, agencies and external partners.

The position is responsible for translating the studio's projects, achievements, and people stories into consistent, well-timed communication across markets, and for ensuring that all external messaging meets the required standards of quality, approval and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

Communication Strategy and Planning
- Build the annual and quarterly communication strategy covering social media, public relations, employer branding and corporate communication.
- Define messaging pillars, campaign themes and communication priorities in line with the studio's business and creative objectives.
- Plan and manage the communication calendar across projects, releases, festivals, industry events, awards and hiring drives.
