Job Description: BIW Design Engineer (3-5 Years exp.)

Mandatory Skills –
- UG NX, Team center
- Knowledge of all BIW components in passenger vehicles.
- Ability to Design the BIW components considering the packaging area, which includes selection of Material /Material grade, Material properties; Thickness.
- Design for Manufacturability and Assembly.
- Sheetmetal Design experience.
- Tolerance knowledge
- CAD and PLM skills: UG NX; Teamcenter

- UG NX,



Team center
- Ability to Design the BIW components considering the packaging area, which includes selection of Material /Material grade, Material Properties; Thickness.
- Experience working with all the stages of Product Development Lifecycle – Concept TO manufacturing
- Experience with Supplier interaction for part development.
- Experience in Part testing (Both DV & PV testing experience is preferred)
- Design for Manufacturability and Assembly.
- Experience in performing DFMEA
- Sheetmetal Design experience.
- Experience in applying tolerance and GD&TRole; & responsibilities
