Job Description

SAMVEDA Trading International is seeking a qualified and compassionate Medical Doctor to provide professional outpatient medical consultations at our upcoming Multi-Specialty Polyclinic and Elderly Day Care Centre.

The Doctor will provide general medical care, preventive healthcare, basic management of chronic diseases, elderly health assessments and appropriate referrals to specialists.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outpatient consultations and clinical assessments.
- Diagnose and manage common adult and elderly health conditions within professional scope.
- Provide preventive healthcare and health education.
- Support diabetes, hypertension and lifestyle-management programmes.
- Conduct periodic health assessments for elderly members.




- Review medical records and maintain appropriate clinical documentation.
- Provide appropriate prescriptions and follow-up advice.
- Coordinate with visiting specialists, dentists, physiotherapists, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in health camps, corporate health programmes and mobile clinic activities when scheduled.
- Identify emergencies and arrange timely referral to an appropriate hospital.
- Maintain professional, ethical and patient-centred standards of care.
- Participate in quality improvement and healthcare programmes of SAMVEDA.

Qualifications
- MBBS from a recognised medical institution.
- Valid registration with the appropriate State Medical Council/National Medical Register as applicable.
- Additional qualifications in Family Medicine, General Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Diabetes Care or a related field are an advantage.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in general OPD, family medicine
