Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced
C++ & Qt Software Architect
to provide architectural guidance, technical leadership, and mentoring to the development team. The consultant will review the existing application, define technical improvements, and support the team in delivering scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and improve the existing
C++ & Qt software architecture
.
- Define scalable, modular, and maintainable software designs.
- Conduct
architecture and code reviews
and establish coding best practices.
- Guide the team on
C++, Qt, multi-threading, TCP/UDP, and application performance
.
- Identify and resolve complex technical and performance issues.
- Mentor developers and provide technical direction.
- Review software integration with




MySQL and external interfaces
.
- Support technical documentation and project delivery.
- Provide guidance on
DO-178C compliance
, where applicable.

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on expertise in
C++ and Qt
.
- Strong understanding of
OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns
.
- Experience with
Windows desktop application development
.
- Valuable knowledge of
multi-threading and socket programming (TCP/UDP),
DIS Protocol.
- Experience with
MySQL.
- Experience with
Git and code-review practices
.
- Strong architectural, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Experience & Qualification
- 8+ years
of software development experience, with strong C++/Qt expertise.
- Previous experience as
Software Architect / Technical Architect / Technical Lead
.
- BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Computer Science, IT.
